Column : JESS: III INTERNATIONAL GAMING PHOTO AWARD 2010
The International Gaming Photo Award is here again - 3rd. edition in 2010.
A contest of pictures about gamers, games and gaming around the world.
For years, we have seen (mainly in boardgaming web sites) many good and impressive gaming-pictures… We love to recompense these good photographers.
This contest started in 2008, with more than 300 pictures. And more than 400 in 2009, from more than 20 countries. Martin Walllace, Michael Rieneck, Stefan Stadler, or Wolfgang & Ursula Kramer have been in the international jury to select the winner pictures. As in the past, the finalist pictures will be exposed in the Festival Internacional de Juegos Córdoba 2010, organized by Jugamos Tod@s. The winner picture will be announced there.

I win!, by J.R.Moreno - Winner 2009 (All the 2009 finalist pictures here)
Read the rules (in different languages) here: III International Gaming Photo Award 2010.
You can send your photos until the end of September 2010. Enjoy!

It looks like a GREAT contest and some of the photos taken could win at a general photography contest. Easily some of the best photos of games that I have seen. So if you want to win, start booking that trip to a third world country now.
The Jury has been different

Yes, I would also get the impression that I don't think it is deliberate. That's just how it seems to have historically worked out so far...
