Convention Preview: UK Games Expo 2008

The second UK Games Expo takes place May 31-June 1, 2008 in Birmingham. In 2007, its first year in existence, the Expo – which features board games, miniature games, RPGs, kids' games and more – seemed to be a great draw for game fans, with a number of publishers deciding to peg new releases to this year's event in order to take advantage of the crowds. The list of new games is tiny compared to Spiel, Origins or Gen Con, but it's encouraging to see a new convention be accepted by both fans and professionals that quickly.

Note that Dungeons & Dragons, 4th Edition will also be demoed during the event, a week before it's published and available to the general public.
