Help Animals, and Get Games!

Tons of review copies flow into BGN headquarters every month, and before I'm buried under all that cardboard and plastic, I need to start shipping them out again. After all, there's only so many piñatas a guy can make!

Rather than post these games for sale or give them all away in monthly drawings, I'm offering to ship them for free to anyone who donates to the cause of animal welfare. My wife and I volunteer at the Concord-Merrimack County SPCA in New Hampshire and have been surprised by how impoverished the shelter is. Cats come in with dirty, matted fur, for example, yet they can't be groomed – despite having a volunteer groomer at a local pet store – because the shelter can't afford to give the cats a rabies shot. The cost of this shot? $9.

The games in this section might not be great. In fact, they might be lousy, but perhaps you'll want to try them out for yourself and search for the greatness that remained hidden despite my best efforts to uncover it. Or maybe you want to dissect the game and use it for parts. Or you have a Cinco de Mayo celebration to prepare for and find that cardboard boxes really do make the best piñatas. Whatever the reason, if you want one or more of the games listed below, then do the following:

1. Email me with the name of the game (or games) to make sure that someone else hasn't already called dibs.
   
   
2. Donate the requested amount (or more) to the Concord-Merrimack County SPCA. The donations are charged to your credit card.
   
   
3. Send me a copy of the donation receipt along with your mailing address, and I'll ship the game out to you. This offer is currently valid for all addresses worldwide, but I reserve the right to change it depending on what those shipping costs add up to in the months ahead.
