About Ward Batty:

Ward Batty has been gaming with the same weekly group for over 20 years under the mistaken belief there's a pension coming. His "day-job" is publisher of Comic Shop News which began in 1987. He has numerous years in comics and game retail as well dating back to 1982. What does all this mean? He's old. Currently he is writing a monthly column about the boardgame business for the trade magazine Comics & Game Retailer and does reviews, columns and profiles for Scrye, Knucklebones and Games International magazines. He also hosts over 30 public gaming events in the Atlanta area (his wife counted them all up recently) including the Atlanta Game Fest and Games Day Atlanta. Ward also maintains Media Watch and the Convention Calendar and Club Information for Boardgamenews.com.

Ward lives in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States.
