pages have not been included, as the purpose of this list is to help
players find groups. A group or club doesn't necessarily need to meet
in a public place if it is open and anyone can attend. If you have any
corrections or additions, please contact Ward. Clubs are listed
alphabetically by state. International clubs are listed by country.

RTEAM
Gamers Club
Tucson, AZ
The purpose of the RTEAM Gamers Club is to provide the people
of Tucson, Arizona opportunities to gather socially to play board,
card, war, and role-playing games. We hold several game events each
week and our family game day the fourth Saturday each month. These
events provide a casual, family-friendly atmosphere. Games played range
from simple family games to exciting strategy games. Arrive and leave
as you please during our events as new games are starting up
throughout. Bring games you'd like to share with the group, as we enjoy
playing old favorites or trying something new.

Inn in Mesa, AZ. We play a large variety of Euro-style games,
from the very light (6 Nimmt!, Zirkus Flohcati, Nicht die Bohne,
etc.) to the very heavy (Age of Steam, Power Grid, Princes of
Florence, etc.) to everything in between! If you like games but
have never heard of any of the ones mentioned above, you must
come and see what you're missing!
LA Games

We play board games and card games at a café in East Hollywood
every Friday night, 7 pm. We like European and strategy games, but
avoid war games and role-playing games. Bring your own, or just
stop by and play one of our many games!
Silicon Valley
Boardgamers
Mountain View, CA
Silicon Valley Boardgamers (or SVB for short) is a hobby
gaming group that meets twice weekly in the Silicon Valley/South Bay
portion of the San Francisco Bay Area. At SVB meetings, we play
mostly German-style strategy boardgames such as The Settlers of
Catan, Puerto Rico, or Carcassonne. We also play
multiplayer Avalon Hill-style games such as Titan, historical
wargames such as GMT's Paths of Glory, and a few collectible
cardgames. What we play depends solely on what meeting attendees want
to play, so we could certainly branch out to include other kinds of
games such as miniatures.
East Bay
Strategy Games Club

A group of game-players who live in the East Bay of the San Francisco
Bay area (i.e., Berkeley, Oakland, etc.) and meet weekly to play
strategic board games. The games we've played include, but are by no
means limited to: Settlers of Catan, Tigris & Euphrates,
El Grande, Tikal, Acquire, Carolus Magnus,
Medici, Modern Art, Cosmic Encounter, Torres, and Lord of the
Rings.

Meets weekly on Tuesday nights to play various board and card
games. We also meet one Saturday a month at for a day full of
gaming.

We are a group of strategy gamers in San Diego. We play a variety of
board, card, and tile-laying games including Puerto Rico, Age
of Steam, Princes of Florence, Formula Die, Axis and Allies, and
many others. However, we collectively possess literally hundreds of
titles.

Colorado
Springs Boardgamers

The Colorado Springs Boardgamers, founded in 2004, are a motley crew of
former strangers that meet frequently for friendly boardgame
competition. We play a wide variety of games that are fun, challenging
and emphasize player interaction. Everyone is invited to join and
there's no membership fee. The recommended minimum age is 10 years old.
Scheduled public play days are the first Sunday and third Saturday of
every month. Our members often play on other days and times, so stay
sharp and ask questions. We look forward to welcoming you to our group!
Denver Games Group

We're a community of boardgame players of all shapes and sizes - shapes
and sizes of boardgames that is - well I guess we have all shapes and
sizes of players too... We usually play what are referred to as
"Designer Games", "Family Strategic games", "Eurogames", or more
commonly "German games" (from where many of them come to us).

Suncoast Gamers

The Florida Suncoast Gamers consists of a group of friendly
adults and teens from up and down the western coast of Florida (mostly
the Tampa/St. Petersburg/Clearwater and Sarasota/Bradenton areas). We
meet every Wednesday night from 6 PM to closing time and the second
Saturday of each month from 10AM to closing time at the HobbyTown USA
store in Brandon. We play every type of game imaginable from old
school Avalon Hill/SPI wargames to the latest Euros, also including
CCGs and Warhammer 40K minis. New players are always welcomed
South
Florida Gamers
Fort Lauderdale, FL
The South Florida Gamers meet (most) Saturdays to play the
newest Eurogames and all the classics. Our members are active and enjoy
good competition, but never lose the social aspect of gaming either.
Contact us if you're visiting the area and want to play some good
games, or join the group if you live in or near the area and play with

We have a weekly meeting every Wednesday night starting at 6pm - 12am
and once a month we do an all day gaming event on the 3rd Saturday of
the month from 11am-11pm+. Both gaming events are held in public places
and we often carry on other events outside these standards.
Miami Boardgames Meetup

We will play new boardgames popularly known as "designer games" or
"Euros" not typically found in American retail stores. These are
relatively easy to understand and challenging for both children and
adults. We also play card games, both traditional such as Cribbage or
Canasta, and designer ones such as Lost Cities.

The North Florida Gaming Association (NFGA) is a
non-profit organization for game players of all ages. Located in
Tallahassee, Florida, the NFGA educates its members and the public
about game players by broadening and developing gaming as art and
recreation. We also promote gaming as a significant element of our
culture and encourage participation in organized gaming events.
Atlanta Boardgames Meetup

This is a chance for game lovers to get together for some fun and
games. There will be a number of games available for play, as well as
friendly folks who can help with the rules. We mostly play European
games like Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne and Ticket
to Ride. All ages welcome but children under 16 must be accompanied
by an adult. We generally meet the second Wednesday and the last
Saturday of each month.

Mercer Meeples (Mercer University Gaming Group in Atlanta) is a group
of university students and staff, adult and adolescent community
members, game developers/designers, and others who meet to enjoy Euro,
board, card, party, dexterity, abstract, and other types of games on a
weekly basis. We are a friendly group who enjoy beginners as well as
experienced players.
EAGLEs
Elgin, IL
At the Elgin Area Gamers League (EAGLEs) club we play a
wide variety of games. The atmosphere is friendly, and we're always
looking for new members. Membership is open, and we charge no dues. We
meet every Thursday night starting around 7:00 pm. We hold our meetings
at a great location with plenty of room and tables. Check out the

MVGA
Holliston, MA
MVGA meets Thursday nights. We have been meeting continuously as
a club since 1965. We have gone through several phases as a club,
presently, we are most interested in Eurogames. We have an extensive
game library, which is available for use on game nights. Regular
attendees may borrow games for their own use.
Games Club of Maryland
GCOM is a large gaming group based in Maryland. GCOM
currently has 18 locations in Maryland, Washington, DC and Virginia. We
play about four to five days during any given week. Our main
goal is to have fun. We are open to the public and all
are welcome. We play games of all kinds, but mostly board
games and card games. We all very flexible and easy to get along
with. We promote a positive mental attitude, good
sportsmanship, fair play, flexibility, open mindedness, patience and
communication. We are always willing to teach and learn new

Ann Arbor Gaming

Ann Arbor, MI
Meets twice a month on weeknights, usually at one of the local coffee
houses in the Ann Arbor area. We're not a pay-dues, vote-on-officers,
meeting-minutes kind of club; we're just a group of people who likes
games and enjoys the social interaction, the challenge of learning new
games, and a relaxing night of friendly gaming! New members are always
welcome.
ROBA
Rochester Hills, MI
The Rochester/Oakland Boardgamers Association (ROBA) is a
family-friendly group of gamers that meets on the last Saturday of
every month from 1-9 p.m. Admission is free and open to all who love
gaming. We have snacks and drinks for sale, as well as pizza by the
slice, which is sold by the youth group of the church we meet at. The
game table is always stocked with a variety of titles, so there’s
always something to play, and always somebody to play with! Currently,
we average 50-60 people at our events.
Boardgames NJ
Woodbridge and Manalapan, NJ
Boardgames NJ meets at Wegmans in both Woodbridge and Manalapan several
times a month. Our members play everything from simple family games to
the latest strategy games. (Scrabble, Ticket to Ride, Power Grid,
Trivial Pursuit and Killer Bunnies are just some of
the most recent games played!) The great thing is that we have enough
people at most events so everyone can play in the category that pleases
them. There are usually 25-30 people at Woodbridge game days. The
Manalapan group usually attracts about 15 members at their Saturday
events.
Long Island Boardgaming
Organization (LIBO)
Long Island, NY
LIBO has evolved in its 2+ years of existence from a pure gaming group
into more of a social experience, with unparalleled camaraderie.
Playing a host of different games - wargames and euros alike - each
month, the GameDay follows a specific theme or mechanic. For example, a
given month might feature ONLY Rio Grande Games, or ONLY train games or
ONLY auction games. A comprehensive website is updated monthly (or more
often), and the group also publishes the highly regarded online
magazine: INDEPTH.
Additionally, the group organizes and runs several "leagues" during the
year: a Strat-O-Matic Football league, a Heroscape league and a Formula
De / Pitchcar league. Beginning in January, monthly meetings will
increase to two weekday meetings per month and one Saturday.

Group meets Tuesday nights in Syracuse, NY and includes those who enjoy
board and card games in the Syracuse area. These games include the
Eurogames (Settlers), quality American games (Acquire)
and card/tile games (Crokinole, Bridge, etc.)
Rochester
Boardgame Society
Rochester, NY
The Rochester Boardgame Society meets on the third Saturday of
every month at Millennium games in Henrietta NY. We play all sorts of
games, from family and card games to Eurogames and hard core wargames.
Several members design their own games that the group provides play
tests for. Attendance for our meets can range anywhere from 12 to 30
plus depending on the season. Membership is free and open to all, and
anyone can stop by at one of the meets and try to get in on a game of
something.

The Columbus Area Boardgaming Society is a public club and open
for anyone to attend. Our meetings are listed in the Columbus Dispatch
every week with directions to our facility. Our web site invites anyone

Dayton Area Boardgaming Society

The group meets several times a month at locations around Dayton. Open

Berks Bordgamers

Berks Boardgamers meets every other month for an entire day
of gaming, always 12+ hours. We primarily play Euro-style
games such as Age of Steam, Puerto Rico, and Euphrates
& Tigris and classics such as Acquire, Titan,
and Civilization. There is also an element of traditional
American family games as we encourage anyone interested in gaming to
join us. So no matter if you prefer hardcore strategy, light fun, or

Pennsylvania. We gather around the table for a relaxing afternoon of
strategy boardgames, most of them German imports. Oh, how quickly those

The
LowCountry Strategy Gamers

Located in the Charleston, SC area (aka the LowCountry). We are a group
of professionals who like to get together after work and on weekends
for gaming fun! We play many kinds of boardgames ("euros" such as Puerto
Rico, Ra, Power Grid, Tigris & Euphrates and other favorites
like Memoir '44 and HeroScape), wargames (Rommel in
the Desert, Starship Troopers) and card games (San Juan, Scarab
Lords). Someone always has new games to try out and we keep up with
the German board game scene pretty well. This gives us a chance to play
the games that have been gathering dust and also to play games we may
have only heard of. If you live in the area (Summerville, North
Charleston, Mount Pleasant, etc) and want to game with us, then sign up

from 12-5 at the Game Keep in the Hermitage area of Nashville,
Tennessee. We played all types of German Style Family Strategy
games - from light fillers like No Thanks! to heavier
games like Age of Steam and Struggle of Empires.
Chances are, if there is a game you want to try, we have some gamers

Flatland Gamers

The Flatland Gamers Boardgame Group meets every Thursday night
at the Regina German Club from 7:00PM-Midnight. Everyone is welcome. Flatland
also holds monthly Saturday 'Games Days' (dates vary) which include
role-playing games, miniatures, boardgames, and other events.

The Toronto Area Boardgaming Society (T.A.B.S.) is a community
of hobbyists promoting board gaming and wargaming in the greater
Toronto area and southern Ontario. Since the group’s inception in
October 2004 we’ve offered a forum which is free to join, where members
can hook up to discuss the hobby and connect with others to play their
favorite titles. TABS sponsors a number of weekly gaming events
at different store locations across the city and also hosts a large
quarterly event called TABSCon. If you’re a wargamer looking for
an opponent to play that classic SPI title or into the latest P500
offering from GMT we’ve a large (600+) member base to hook up with and
if Eurogames are your thing then there’s also no shortage of opponents
to be found at TABS.

Swiggers is a London-based group of games players. We meet every
Wednesday evening (except some December dates) to play board games and
the occasional role-playing game. We are non-smokers. Air conditioning
was installed in the pub at the beginning of August 2004 – not a moment
too late – so conditions are very pleasant even in the summer heat. We

BoardSilly

BoardSilly is a boardgame club which meets every first and third
Monday evening at the Newbold Comyn Arms, Leamington Spa at 8pm. There
will be variety of boardgames, played simultaneously which range from
classics like Monopoly and Trivial Pursuit to recent
favourites like Cranium and Taboo; strategic games like
Risk to some award winning but slightly less known new games
like Roborally and Carcassonne.

Board Gamers Anonymous was formed to allow boardgamers in
Northern Ireland to meet socially in order to play german-style board
games. The club aims to provide a fun and social setting in which
people can meet and play german amd german-style boardgames.
Jerusalem Strategy Gaming Club

The only official board and card game club in the Middle East (so far).
We play every Wednesday evening, excluding holidays, and have at least
two yearly Game Days. We play mostly eurogames, but our members also
play CCG's, wargames, RPGs, bridge, etc. All people living in the area,
visiting, or just passing through, are welcome!
Club TreEmme
JPaltrinieri 80, Modena, Italy
Club TreEmme is the oldest Italian gamers association, founded
in Modena in 1980 (this year is the 25th anniversary). The main
location is in Modena and from 1995 we have more than 100 members.
Starting from 1996 TreEmme open new main locations in Carpi, Vercelli
and Roma and some other small locations around in Italy. Now TreEmme
has more than 500 members. From 1985 club TreEmme is contributing in
the organization of the main gamers convention in Italy: ModCon, that
take place in Modena in the last week of September. The TreEmme
location in Modena is open 5 days every week (monday, wednesday, friday
evening, saturday and sunday afternoon). We play wargames, boardgame,
card games, RPG and 3d games.!
Singapore Boardgames

Singapore
The Singapore Boardgames Meetup Group was formed some three
years back and is now a regular event in Singapore. We meet three times
a month, on the first Tuesday of the month, the third Sunday of the
month and the second Wednesday of the month, rotated around the three
branches of Settlers Cafe, a chain of boardgaming cafes in Singapore.
We mostly play Eurogames and we have volunteers and cafe staff members
who are happy to teach people how to play. However, no game is
discriminated against. Wargames do make an appearance, as we have many
regular gamers who are wargamers as well.

Boardgame Players Association
The Boardgame Players Association is a non-profit corporation
established to support the shared interests of board game players
everywhere. The BPA wishes to serve as a portal for boardgamers to
enjoy their favorite games. If you enjoy historical simulation games,
euro games, racing games, train games, any type of board game, you'll
find thousands of people here that share your interests. We sponsor
annual tournaments, organize play-by-email games, and help establish
global player ratings.
