2nd Annual After Essen Gaming Party in Berlin
Michael Schmitt, owner of the Spielwiese boardgame café in Berlin, will be hosting his 2nd annual “After Essen Gaming Party” on Tuesday, October 28, at 19:00 to coincide with the shop’s second anniversary. I was able to attend last year and got to play games with Thorsten Gimmler, Andrea Meyer and Günter Cornett – Berlin residents all – while meeting other designers and players. If you want to get an idea of how good a brick-and-mortar game store can be, check out Jeff Allers’ article on Spielwiese from his Postcards from Berlin series.
