Amigo Releases for 2009

German publisher Amigo Spiel has announced a number of new game releases in anticipation of the Nuremberg Toy Fair in February 2009. Those titles include:

  • Einauge sei wachsam, by Wolfgang Kramer and Michael Kiesling. A 45-minute family game for 2-5 players ages 10 and up in which players need to find and collect treasure.

  • Der Palast von Eschnapur, by Inka and Markus Brand. Bribe officials and get your palace built in this 60-minute game for 2-4 players ages 10 and up.

  • Nur die Ziege zählt, by Günther Burkhardt. Another goat-based game on the heels of Herr der Ziegen, but this one is a card game for 3-6 players lasting 20 minutes.

  • Topaz, by Reiner Knizia. A 15-minute card game for 1-4 players ages 8 and up.

  • Meschugge, by Thomas Pauli. Most likely a new version of a card game that Amigo released in 1988.

  • Da Capo, which is apparently another reissue of a Thomas Pauli title, this time for 2-6 players, ages 8 and up with a playing time of 45 minutes.

  • 13, by Reiner Knizia. A 45-minute card game for 3-6 players, ages 8 and up.

  • 6 Nimmt! Junior, by Wolfgang Kramer, with the action taking place on a farm for only 2-5 players.
No pics or descriptions from Amigo yet, but Nuremberg is less than two months away, so expect more info before too long…

My word… two months to Nuremberg?! I’m still paying for my Essen games and still have a few that need to see their way to the table.

Still, it’s always good to see new games on the way.
