| LovePig (Porcellini) is a game that tests the feelings between couples: dad and daughter, wife and husband, teammates, school friends, co-workers, grandmother and nephew, and so on. The more you know about your LovePig, the more you are able to create questions that you are sure your friend will answer in the way you will recognize, in relation to answers given by other gamers. The more that gamers know you, the more they will try to change their answers to confound you in funny and unusual ways. Mixed in with these psychological questions are some extremely funny “physical” texts that are weird and unusual. |

The first official LovePig tournament will take place in ModCon, 21-23 September, Modena (Italy). In the following The LovePigs Story

The contract between designer and producer was signed in this way:
Angelo Porazzi: ConMan = Man of Conventions and Fairs. Author and illustrator who, since 2000, has enjoyed demonstrating and playing games with gamers.
Mario Sacchi: ComMan = Commercial Man. Producer of Love Pigs in all effects, together with Matteo Panara, with whom he runs Post Scriptum.
That’s why the two logos on the LovePigs box, Angelo Porazzi Games and Post Scriptum, appear as a couple: LovePigs is a game for couples! At Essen 2007, LovePigs will be premiered at the Angelo Porazzi Games - Post Scriptum Booth. This will probably be the same booth I’ve had for the past three years: Hall 9, Booth 28, where last year the first edition of Giro d’ Italia Ludico took place, together with Jost Schwider of www.spielepizza.com, who collaborates as the translator for the German edition of LovePigs. The English Edition is overseen by kind Rick Partin, BGGer, writer/editor, and three-time-dad like me, who fell in love with PeaceBowl and WrestAngel - the latter for which he recently published a wonderful and deep review. LovePigs was premiered as a prototype at LuccaGames 2006 (Here are all my Photo Reports in English for that year: http://warangel.it/06e.html) and IDEAG 2007 (Italian Designers and Authors Gathering: http://warangel.it/07e.html), where Mario Sacchi played the game and decided to produce LovePigs for Post Scriptum. My personal thanks to all the play-testers that helped me develop this interactive and funny game, born more than10 years ago and which was enjoyed by all my parents, various couples, relatives, children, husbands and wives, co-workers, teammates, and friends. Of all my games it is the one most appreciated by women, wives, and daughters. Being a game for couples, in which people can use their grown-up knowledge, I find both nice and significant. This is not my classic self-produced game, but rather a game published in all effects with friends, with a standard contract with Post Scriptum. A couple of friends who self-produced their game, BauSquitMiao, of which they are authors and which I illustrated, have since last year become regular publishers who produce games of other authors. In this same spirit, I am helping to promote the self-produced games of Pierluca Zizzi, who will be with us at Essen in the same booth, presenting his games, Defence for Agarthi and Ononima Omicidi. Area Autoproduzione (Self-production Area) is growing at many Cons that have hosted me, and is now finally producing its own fruits: contacts between people, authors, gamers, and editors are friendly and clear: there is true collaboration. There is also reciprocal knowledge and respect, as well as common growth, with new games and gamers in the luding Italian world, that has improved a lot in recent years. Most of all, at least for me, it is so nice to collaborate with people who do not communicate solely their own little reality or just talk, talk, talk-doing nothing to improve things, but with people who love to ACT after words, who love to realize ideas, with honest and reciprocal communication, thereby creating advantages for everyone. Do you wish for a game that is simple and interactive, one that you can play with all your family, girlfriends, boyfriends, wives, and children or anyone who still is able to enjoy a creative game and who would like to know the people around them a little better? LovePigs is this game.
Peace and Love
