Ask Asmodée: Will Racing Fans Feel the Love?
Q: When the Formula Dé game was reprinted early in 2007, why weren’t any expansion circuits printed at the same time? Are there plans to bring these back in print, whether in a new edition or the old one?
A: Hopefully, I can say more next week.
Q: Please, please, please release the Mr. Jack expansion in the U.S.
A: Editor’s note: Rather than chasten the questioner Alex Trebek-style to rephrase this statement in the form of a question, he instead pointed me to an announcement on the Asmodée website that very day, which led to the following Gone Cardboard announcement, reprinted here in case you missed it:
Asmodée Editions will have a limited quantity of the Mr. Jack Expansion, courtesy of the original publisher Hurrican Games. The expansion will retail for $24.95, and you should contact your favorite retailer to ask about preordering since quantities are limited.
Q: Do you plan on selling the goodies from the conventions for Dungeon Twister?
A: For Dungeon Twister, normally we don’t sale goodies; we give them away when customers buy the game at the convention or if they participate in tournaments. —Christophe Arnoult

Oh please please please Formula De expansion reprints! I’ll go broke from buying reprints, but not as broke as I would trying to find the originals. Posted by Mark Wilder on Oct 15, 2007 at 01:56 AM | #

I would immediately order a full set of the tracks if Asmodee reprinted them. I would also buy a new edition with and a full array of tracks. Over the past couple of years, I have begun playing Formula De before every Formula One Grand Prix. Sadly, I only have the base track and as lovely as Monaco is, it will be a poor substitute for Sao Paolo this weekend. Posted by ChristianJohnson on Oct 16, 2007 at 10:58 PM | #
