Ask Days of Wonder: TtR XBLA PDQ?

Q: Have you or will you consider producing a online version of Ticket to Ride for XBox Live? It seems like a great fit and a way to spread awareness of the Days of Wonder line.

A: We’re always willing to listen to new opportunities to bring our games to new platforms, as we firmly believe that the more people are familiar with a game (regardless of the platform), the more likely they are to keep playing it on all platforms, including face-to-face, at least if the game is any good. That being said, our own internal development efforts are focused on PC-centric games, with our most current endeavor being a PC/Mac version of Memoir ‘44. —Eric Hautemont

Q: Do you anticipate TTR shortages along the lines of last year?

A: We have made some changes in our production planning and are working very hard to try and prevent any shortages for the Ticket to Ride games during the holiday season. Of course, we could still be surprised by demand, but our hope is we will have enough games. —Mark Kaufmann

Great idea!!!!!!!! I’ve really been enjoying Catan and Carcassonne on the Xbox.  You should really check it out - I think there maybe some cross-platform development tools so you can do it on the PC and on the XBox.
