You don’t need to be an insider for these strips, since they’re not based on any actual happenings. Except some uber-secret-special meetings I just know nothing about. In fact, generally I’d guess these are funnier to “non-insiders” who can appreciate that the strips are just poking fun at the whole notion of insider/non-insider-ness and the rumors and complaints one often hears about the Gathering and other invite-only gaming events.
