This picture doesn’t do the awesome *kuch* Ted Alspach justice, it doesn’t show how tall he actually is. And how awesome! Posted by Surya Van Lierde on Oct 9, 2008 at 08:09 AM | #

Dale, I would never shill for my own games here on BGN. I mean, if I talked about how awesome the latest batch of upcoming Age of Steam Expansions are, including the limited edition Spiel which has this amazing modular design that makes it perfect for any number of players, or the ground-breaking Secret Blueprints of Steam which plays twice as fast as normal AoS, or even the incredible three-maps-in-one Vermont, New Hampshire and Central New England, I would feel guilty about it. And I certainly wouldn’t stoop as low as to mention that preorders are still available at http://games.bezier.com. But even if I did mention those great expansions, I can’t imagine how low I would have to sink to talk about the brand new, highly-praised Ultimate Werewolf: Ultimate Edtion (seriously, Tom Vasel did *not* receive all that much bonus cash from me for his super-positive video review of it, even though he did say it was the “best werewolf game EVARRRR"). Or that it is also available at http://games.bezier.com, shipping NOW...and that all orders from my site get free shipping to any US locations. I’m just not that way. But thanks for bringing up that point...I’m sure other comics writers wouldn’t hesitate to go on and on about their games, even if it was a supposed conflict of interest… :D Posted by Ted Alspach on Oct 9, 2008 at 09:22 AM | #

I’m so printing this comic strip out, just so I can draw mustaches and beards all over your photo. Shoot, if the discussion gets bad I’ll throw in some horns too! Yay! <too bad I don’t have the permissions to go in and actually hack your section of the site… :( > Good stuff. Are any of the pieces headed to Essen, or are they allergic to cigarette smoke? Well, that is the logical conclusion. And it works, when I first saw B2P I thought “where have I seen that name before?” And oddly, it was where it shows that nobody is fireproof (*). There’s absolutely no objection that I can see to the logo in http://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/349291?size=original but it did have to be modified from the logo in http://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/142801?size=large where what was meant as Ted Alspach’s (Age of Steam Disco Inferno) was too easily read as the incorrect (Ted Aspach’s Age of Steam) Disco Inferno. (*) That includes me. Don’t get me wrong, I’m quite happy with what (in a small way) I’ve done and do. But the people for whom Ted’s “Editor” has a colourful description might disagree. It’s actually , not “preorders” which could be the problem… :) Posted by Ted Alspach on Oct 11, 2008 at 05:41 PM | #
