Boardgames Australia Announces Award Nominees

Boardgames Australia, a non-profit organization that aims to promote boardgaming in Australia, has announced its nominees for both Best Australian Game and Best Children’s Game, whether Australian or not. The nominees in the first category are:

  • Acronymia
  • Archaeology: the card game
  • Kingdom Quest
  • KogWorks
  • Sorts
  • SuDoku Battle Lines
  • Word Wrangles
While the kids’ line-up consists of:
  • Bingory
  • The Black Pirate
  • Codebreaker
  • Cogno: Alien Adventure
  • Froggy Boogie
  • Gumball Rally
  • Quoridor Kid
Congrats to the nominees, including BGN’s video reviewer Ted Cheatham for the nod to Gumball Rally. The nominees for Best International Game will be announced on March 8. Since BGN columnists Melissa Rogerson and Fraser McHarg are part of Boardgames Australia, perhaps they’ll offer more details about the awards and BA in upcoming columns.
