Bruno Faidutti on Ludopathic Gathering XIV
Game designer Bruno Faidutti hosts his own gaming event each Spring, and he’s posted a summary of Ludopathic Gathering XIV on his website. Since the percentage of designers to gamers was higher than at the typical game-playing event, you’ll see lots of prototypes mentioned, including pics of a certain cooperative game forthcoming from Repos Production, aka Ghost Stories. Hits from the gathering, according to Bruno, were Pandemic, Vineta (coming from Winning Moves in August), Stone Age, Metropolys, and Scripts & Scribes, which I’ll post a review of in the next couple of weeks.

All, This is a FANTASTIC summary of all the happenings going on in the boardgame world. People are devouring all of the many GOF reports floating about but Bruno has PICTURES of many of the prototypes described… plus all new stuff including some pics of Sherwood! This is a MUST see. Good Grief. I sound like an advertisement! Ryan B. Posted by Ryan Bretsch on Apr 17, 2008 at 08:04 PM | #

Ryan, for the most part people at the Gathering are asked not to take photos of prototypes or give out too much information about them. Apparently the rules are different overseas. Eric Posted by W. Eric Martin on Apr 17, 2008 at 09:16 PM | #
