Carpe Astra: Seize the Stars – Coming from Reiver Games

Reiver Games has announced that its third release will be Carpe Astra – Seize the Stars by Ted Cheatham and Reiver’s own Jackson Pope. Here’s a description from the publisher:

In Carpe Astra, you play contenders for the throne in a future empire, trying to build enough support among powerful guilds to claim the throne for yourself. Players control a number of “operatives” who help them to form connections with the guilds, either supporting the guilds or slandering an opponent, weakening their standing with the guilds.

While Reiver’s first two games – Border Reivers and It’s Alive! – were produced by hand, Carpe Astra will be a professionally produced game with a release date in July or August. More details will be posted on the Reiver Games website in coming weeks.
