Carpe Astra: Seize the Stars – Coming from Reiver Games
Reiver Games has announced that its third release will be Carpe Astra – Seize the Stars by Ted Cheatham and Reiver’s own Jackson Pope. Here’s a description from the publisher:
| In Carpe Astra, you play contenders for the throne in a future empire, trying to build enough support among powerful guilds to claim the throne for yourself. Players control a number of “operatives” who help them to form connections with the guilds, either supporting the guilds or slandering an opponent, weakening their standing with the guilds. |
While Reiver’s first two games – Border Reivers and It’s Alive! – were produced by hand, Carpe Astra will be a professionally produced game with a release date in July or August. More details will be posted on the Reiver Games website in coming weeks.
