Climb! – Practice for Wallcrawlers
While researching Montreal-based publisher Le Scorpion Masqué for a news item yesterday, I ran across the second game that it’s released: Climb! (or Grimpe! in French).
Climb!, which was released in 2008, is an odd-sounding dexterity game in which cards with colored symbols are laid out on the table, then players walk their fingers through the symbols, trying not to move the cards while restricting each finger to a different color. The game goes up to five players and includes a solo variant (with downloadable card layouts on the company’s website) for those who want to fidget with their digits while alone. Check out the publisher’s Climb! webpage for a pic of the game in action.
