Conflict of Heroes: Details on the Second Game, and Online Play

Somewhat old news, but I missed it the first go round, so here ‘tis: Conflict of Heroes: Storms of Steel! – Eastern Front 1943-45 will be the second title in the Conflict of Heroes series of tactical squad-fighting games rom Uwe Eickert. The previously announced interim subtitle was “Steel Rain.” Here’s a game description from the publisher’s website:

Storms of Steel witnesses the epic retreat and eventual defeat of the Wehrmacht on the eastern front.

• All new units including Tiger tanks, Soviet rockets, strafing airplanes, Soviet cavalry, elite units, and much more!
• New map boards, including bombed out cities maps!
• All new firefights, including detailed historical backgrounds.

Storms of Steel continues the groundbreaking game concepts introduced in Awakening the Bear with new highly integrated airplane and anti-air rules. Stukas dive bomb, Sturmoviks strafe, and FlaKpanzer Wirbelwinds desperately try to fend off the death from above.
