Convention Preview News: 18xx Titles from Deep Thought Games

John Tamplin of Deep Thought Games says the new titles on hand for Spiel 07 will be 18US and 18West, both designed by David G.D. Hecht. Says Tamplin, “18US has been shipping since April, but 18West will be released at the time of Essen.” Tom Lehmann’s 1834 might also appear, but given that Lehmann is still busy with Race for the Galaxy among other things, 1834 probably won’t be finished in time.

The elimination of economy parcel post by the US Postal Service means that Tamplin will have significantly fewer games with him this year at Spiel, so anyone who wants an 18xx game is advised to preorder it now. For the complete list of available 18xx games, visit the Deep Thought Games website.
