"Batavia is a heavily reworked version of Moderne Zeiten.” This sounds interesting. Moderne Zeiten is quite a good game which was spoiled for some by two different interpretations of the game-ending conditions. I’m curious to see what Queen does with it, although I suspect I’ll miss the Roaring 20’s theme and avante garde artwork. I also just read the rules to Gisborne. This looks like it could be a solid family game that gamers might not mind playing with non-gamers. And the components look like they should be very nice.
