Some of the games on the Spiel 08 preview (e.g. Monastery) have already appeared in print, but this year I’m aiming to build a directory of everything a Spiel attendee can expect to find on sale that wasn’t available last year. That’s a huge task, I know – impossible even! But leaving companies like Surprised Stare and the Ragnars off the list only because they won’t debut something at Spiel makes no sense. Thus, comprehensiveness is winning out over the stricter standard of “game that will be introduced at Spiel.” Let me know if you have any comments one way or the other…

To reach the Spiel preview, head to one of the publisher links: A-C, D-M, N-R or S-Z.

Since I base a lot of my buying plans on this list, I’m all for the more comprehensive list!

More comprehensive works for me. It will hopefully help me catch some titles that I would otherwise miss…

Comprehensive is great for publishers and designers, so thanks!  Just hope the consumer won’t be stuck in analysis paralysis with even MORE choices!
