Draco Mundis, Coming from Asmodée
Asmodée Editions has announced that it will publish a new title from Dungeon Twister designer Christophe Boelinger in the U.S. called Draco Mundis, which resembles the former game in certain ways.

In Draco Mundis, 2-4 players start the game by placing their character and terrain tokens on the gameboard, then they take two actions – moving, fighting, exploring the jungle, using special powers – in order to score victory points. The game play has no luck and involves memory, bluffing, turn by turn tactical advances, and temporary alliances with other players when playing with more than two.
Draco Mundis plays in 60 minutes and is for ages 12 and up. The game will be released in Q4 2008 or Q1 2009 in English, with the game available in French in November/December 2008. (The French edition will be published by Hazgaard Editions, publisher of Okko and distributed by Asmodée.) This game has been added to Gone Cardboard.

Note that this is a remake of Faeries Tales, publish by Rose & Poison in 2006. http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/26124 The artwork has been redone but I don’t know if there are other changes in the design. Posted by Olivier Reix on Sep 23, 2008 at 10:08 AM | #
