Finnish Games of the Year 2008

The Finnish games of the year – the Vuoden Peli – have been announced by the Finnish Toy Association, and the winners are:

Adult category

  • Modern Art, by Reiner Knizia (Lautapelit.fi) – Winner
  • Taidolla ja Tuurilla (aka Wits & Wagers), by Dominic Crapuchettes (Competo) – Finalist
  • Maximus, by Kimmo Sorsamo (Gambit Games) – Finalist
Family category
  • Bandu, by Klaus Zoch (Competo) – Winner
  • Oregon, by Åse and Henrik Berg (Lautapelit.fi) – Finalist
  • Qwirkle, by Susan Ross (Competo) – Finalist
Children’s category
  • Eläinpyramidi (Tavella) – Winner
  • Koko perhe näyttelee (Tactic) – Finalist
  • Muumien sanasirkus (Egmont) – Finalist
