Fluxx 4, Coming from Looney Labs

Looney Labs has announced the upcoming release of Fluxx Version 4.0, most likely before the end of 2008. This version, released six years after Version 3.0, will have color artwork, more cards (including cards previously available only as promotional items), the transformation of certain Keepers into Creepers (cards that must be played as soon as they’re drawn), and a two-piece box that will replace the evil tuckbox used for most previous Looney Labs’ titles.

Fluxx 4 follows on the heels of Monty Python Fluxx, which debuted in October 2008. In an article on Wunderland.com, Fluxx designer Andy Looney notes that the company had received preorders for nearly 13,000 copies of Monty Python Fluxx – nearly all of the first print run – with a second printing of 10,000 copies scheduled for November 2008.

Fluxx 4 has been added to Gone Cardboard.
