From the Editor: “Ask Zev” Debuts Soon

BGN readers have asked for more feedback from publishers along the lines of “Ask Jay,” the (mostly) weekly column of Q&As with Rio Grande’s Jay Tummelson. Starting just as soon as I receive enough questions to make it feasible, Boardgame News will debut “Ask Zev” with Z-Man Games’ Zev Shlasinger taking your questions and dispensing words of wisdom.

I’m trying to rope other publishers into participating as well, and if more of them sign on, I’ll likely change the format to something other than a dozen separate columns from various publishers that all need coordination on six different schedules. Again, that’s a matter for the future. Right now, you just need to send your Z-Man related questions to editor@boardgamenews.com

Yeah, a regular weekly “ask the publisher” column with rotating publishers would be very nice!  An “ask the designer” monthly column is on my dream list too. :-)

Wonderful news! Now I need to think up some questions…

Since it seems that every week has brought new revelations from Jay (especially right now, with the Essen releases are solidifying), it would be good to keep his column as frequent as he is willing to make it. On the other hand, if we can get a rotation going, that would be nice, too!

Thumbs up!

Eric,

It would be nice to Hautemont on this.  Hopefully there is a good prognosis for that.
