Gitty Geisterhand – A Small Expansion for Wicked Witches’ Way (Sort of)
Pro Ludo, publisher of Flinke Feger, showed off a new witch figure named Gitty Geisterhand (Ghosthand) at the 2008 Nuremberg Toy Fair. Gitty moves automatically each round based on the number of black dice showing, and any player that starts a turn on the same space as Gitty (other than the start space) randomly loses two cards from his hand for that turn. Pro Ludo’s Guido Heinecke invented Gitty with Flinke Feger co-designer Bruno Cathala; only 666 copies of the black witch figure will be produced, and they’ll be distributed through retailers and raffles. (Coincidentally, Flinke Feger is ranked 666 at BoardGameGeek, where you can see an image of Gitty.)
The small black witch figure doesn’t match the pieces in Wicked Witches Way, the English edition of Flinke Feger, since publisher Asmodée chose to use individually illustrated tiles rather than differently colored plastic pieces, but you can easily use a substitute.
