Gladiator: Revolte in Rom II, Coming from Queen Games in 2009

Following on the heels of Dominion: Intrigue and Race for the Galaxy: Rebel vs Imperium comes one of the other most anticipated sequels in recent gaming history: Gladiator: Revolte in Rom II. This sequel to Stefan Feld’s 2005 release Roma is another two-player dice and card game, and it can be played on its own or combined with the original game.

In a 2007 interview on Brettspillguiden, Feld noted that the sequel will contain more complex and trickier cards that allow for more combinations. Has anything changed from that comment two years ago? We’ll find out at Spiel 09 in October…
