Gone Cardboard News: Covert Action - Details from R&R Games

R&R Games plans to debut Covert Action at Gen Con in mid-August. Here’s a description of the game from the publisher:

Two or three opposing teams of Covert Operatives are trying to steal the plans for a nuclear submarine. Each team must first eliminate the other team in order to steal the plans.  Who will you trust? Has your team been infiltrated by a Mole working for the other side?  Who should you shoot? Who will pull the trigger first? Act fast to get them...before they get you!

Covert Action falls into the Werewolf family of games as each player receives a hidden role—sniper, cleaner, mole or bodyguard—and those roles give you a direction for game play in the round. For the cleanest description possible, why not just take a look at the display box:

Covert Action handles from 4 to 11 players, and a complete game lasts about 20 minutes. The games sells for $5.95.
