Gone Cardboard News: Ghost Stories and Hurry’Cup from Asmodée
I already had Ghost Stories, a fun co-op game from Antoine Bauza, listed as forthcoming from Asmodée Editions, and the publisher has finally made it official, posting an announcement that the game should be available in the U.S. in the fall after being released at Spiel 08 by Repos Production in October. (For details on Ghost Stories, check out my initial write-up of the game following the Gathering of Friends.)
Asmodée has also announced a second game from Bauza, Hurry’Cup, which once again is being released at Spiel 08 (by Swiss publisher Hurrican Games this time) before coming to the U.S. in the fall. Hurry’Cup is a racing game for 3-6 players. Artwork for both games is by Pierô, who previously did a striking job for Mr. Jack. With that said, why not run another pic from Ghost Stories?

These games have been added to Gone Cardboard.

This one almost seems inspired by “The Cat”. Well worth checking out, especially for a jaw-dropping extended kung fu fight sequence between an alien-possessed cat and a dog. The movie then just gets weirder. Posted by Frank Branham on Jun 5, 2008 at 12:43 PM | #
