Gone Cardboard News: Lifeboats - New Version of Rette Sich Wer Kann coming from Z-Man Games
Z-Man Games is going to be publishing a new version of Rette Sich Wer Kann, the infamous ‘Lifeboat Game’, to be titled Lifeboats. This game will be co-produced with German publisher Argentum-Verlag under the title Seenot im Rettungsboot. Here’s a description of the new version from the German game site www.goodgameguide.de, translated by Patrick Korner:
| No changes to the rules are planned, but the game components should be significantly improved. For example, no selection disks and their easily-accidentally-shifted pointers will be included; instead the choices will be made with cards. The boats are also planned to be redone. |
The game is to be released in Late October / Early November 2006. This game has been added to the Gone Cardboard page.
