Gone Cardboard News: Revised Release Dates for Rio Grande

Rio Grande Games has announced new release dates for many of its upcoming titles, with November now being the target for Bonnie & Clyde, Burger Joint, Lemons & Lemonade, the St. Petersburg expansion, and Veritas. In the Year of the Dragon (the English title of alea’s Im Jahr des Drachen) and Great American Railroad Game are straddling the line between October and November, while (sigh) Race for the Galaxy is now an October release.

As for the October releases—which also include Amyitis, Carcassonne: Abbey & Mayor, Civitas Hamburgum, Cuba, Key Harvest, Ming Dynasty, and the Power Grid Deck Expansion—Jay Tummelson writes, “Nothing is ever for certain, but I have been promised Essen by the German publishers and the printers. I will just have to wait and see.” He plans to show Im Jahr des Drachen with English rules, but he’s not sure what other titles among those delayed will be on display.

These games have been updated on Gone Cardboard.

La Citta isn’t mentioned, is that good or bad news?

Sorry, I didn’t mention the status of La Citta, Medieval Merchant and El Caballero reprints. All of them are now listed as Fall 2007 releases when they were previously Summer releases.
