Gone Cardboard News: Smarty Party!: Gamers’ Expansion

Just one month after the Ubongo Etrem Craxy Expansion, Ted Alspach at Bézier Games has another expansion lined-up for a well-known game. The base game this time is Smarty Party!, the team trivia game from Pitt Crandelmire and Aaron Weissblum published by R&R Games, and the expansion will feature dozens of categories that focus on board and card games. “And not those silly mass market games, but the hard core, I-read-BGN-every-day super gamers,” says Alspach. “With a variety of topics that focus on games from the present and the past, true gamers – even those who don’t like party games – will enjoy playing this expansion. Smarty Party! has always been one of the top gamers’ games when it comes to party games, and this expansion is tailored specifically for them.”

Only two copies of the Smarty Party!: Gamers’ Expansion will be printed – one for use during the upcoming Gathering of Friends convention, and another for the prize table – but the expansion will be available as a free download from the Bézier Games website in April 2008.
