Igor Comes to R&R Games Courtesy of Knizia, Beeler & Steen

The animated movie Igor, in which a less-than-attractive lab assistant aspires to become a mad scientist himself and win the Evil Science Fair, opens in the U.S. on September 19, and R&R Games has two titles lined up as part of the marketing bonanza that accompanies such releases. First, arriving in September is Igor: The Life of the Party Game, by Dug Steen and Nate Beeler, a game about following – and breaking – all sorts of crazy rules.

The second title, due out at the end of September or beginning of October, is Igor: The Monster Making Game, by Reiner Knizia. In this fast-paced dice game – which is similar to Ravensburger’s Code Knacker, released in German in 2007 – players use the custom dice to assemble monsters without leaving unfinished projects on the table that other mad scientists can finish first. They are evil, after all.

These games have been added to Gone Cardboard.
