Jerry Taylor Keeps Writing
Jerry Taylor has once again updated the designer’s notes for his forthcoming Wars of the Roses from Columbia Games, this time talking about the thought process behind the rules for home areas in the game and why the nobles aren’t as fickle as they were in Hammer of the Scots. Wars of the Roses doesn’t have a release date yet, although it’s likely to appear in 2008. I’ve never considered myself to be a true grognard (euros are my forte, but I do like a good serving of wargame goodness).... but more than any other game, including Agricola and the Race for the Galaxy expansion, this is the one game I can’t wait to get my hands on.
