Larry Levy:  The Twelve Games of Christmas

Well, I guess it’s that time of year.  Scott Tepper weighed in with his gaming version of an old Christmas classic earlier this week and here’s my attempt.  I’ve tried to come up with appropriate replacements for all those partridges and turtledoves.  I trust you’ll all recognize the games and toys alluded to here (it’s not meant to be hard), but in case some of my descriptions are too obscure, I’ve posted an accompanying Geeklist here.  Enjoy!

For the first game of Christmas, my true love gave to me
A DUNK OF THE ONE TRUE RING.

For the second game of Christmas, my true love gave to me
TWO BATTLIN’ ‘BOTS,
And a dunk of the One True Ring.

For the third game of Christmas, my true love gave to me
THREE PASSED CARDS,
Two battlin’ ‘bots,
And a dunk of the One True Ring.

For the fourth game of Christmas, my true love gave to me
FOUR FAVOR TRACKS,
Three passed cards,
Two battlin’ ‘bots,
And a dunk of the One True Ring.

For the fifth game of Christmas, my true love gave to me
FIVE SdJ’s!
Four favor tracks,
Three passed cards,
Two battlin’ ‘bots,
And a dunk of the One True Ring.

For the sixth game of Christmas, my true love gave to me
SIX BOSSES TRAV’LIN’,
FIVE SdJ’s!
Four favor tracks,
Three passed cards,
Two battlin’ ‘bots,
And a dunk of the One True Ring.

For the seventh game of Christmas, my true love gave to me
SEVEN BACKS A-STABBIN’,
Six bosses trav’lin’,
FIVE SdJ’s!

For the eighth game of Christmas, my true love gave to me
