Leaked WizKids Promo Material for 2008
A January 2008 presentation by WizKids to Diamond and Alliance distributors (DAD in the presentation) for products to be released in 2008 (PPT) has appeared unexpectedly on a number of websites, leading to wide speculation about the future of several product lines.
While the Star Wars PocketModel TCG has five releases scheduled, HeroClix has six releases, and the Pirates of the Cursed Seas PocketModel TCG seven releases (!), Halo ActionClix has only one release listed, HorrorClix has two releases – along with a note that Nightmares will be the final full set release – and MechWarrior isn’t mentioned at all. Many of the slides in the Power Point presentation mention that details are still being determined on this product or that one, so don’t be surprised if the actual releases don’t match this presentation.
