Magic the Gathering Invitational to Be Held at Spiel 2007

Here at Boardgame News we generally shy away from covering collectible card games, but we’re passing along this item in case you need yet another reason to attend Spiel this coming October. The Magic the Gathering Invitational, which pits 16 of the world’s top players against one another for the right to have their likeness emblazoned on a future card, will be held at Spiel from October 18-21. The players compete in unique formats, often with unique cards created especially for this competition. Expect the halls to be just that much more crowded this year…
