Mattel Loses $45 Mil in Q1 2008
In a mirror image of Monday’s news about Hasbro earning $37.5 million in the first quarter of 2008, Mattel lost $45 million in the same time period. Recalls and falling Barbie sales are among the reasons for the decline, according to one news report.
