Nederlandse Spellenprijs 2006 Nominees Announced

The nominees for the Nederlandse Spellenprijs 2006 (The Dutch Games Award) have been announced.  Here’s a description of the prize:

This fall Dutch players will choose their game of the year 2006, the winner of the Nederlandse Spellenprijs 2006 (Dutch Games Award). The jury recently nominated eight games, that were published in the Netherlands during the past election year (June 2005 – May 2006). Starting September 2nd Dutch players will choose their three favourite games from this list. These games receive 4, 2 or 1 point(s). The game that collects the most points will win this election. The winner will be announced on October 2nd and honoured at the Spellenspektakel games show in Eindhoven.

Reef Encounter by Richard Breese (Quined Games)
