Nederlandse Spellenprijs 2007 Nominees Announced

The jury for the Nederlandse Spellenprijs 2007 (Dutch Game of the Year award) has announced its list of nine nominees from all the games that were released in the Netherlands from June 2006 to May 2007:

  • Arkadia, by Rüdiger Dorn (Ravensburger)
  • De Kathedraal (Pillars of the Earth), by Michael Rieneck & Stefan Stadler (999 Games)
  • De Vorsten van Florence (The Princes of Florence), by Wolfgang Kramer & Richard Ulrich (QWG Games)
  • Factory Fun, by Corné von Moorsel (Cwai)
  • Mr. Jack, by Bruno Cathala & Ludovic Maublanc (Hurrican)
  • Pompen of Verzuipen (Land Unter), by Stefan Dorra (PS Games)
  • Shogun, by Dirk Henn (Queen Games)
  • Taj Mahal, by Reiner Knizia (QWG Games)
  • Thurn und Taxis, by Karen & Andreas Seyfarth (999 Games)
Starting September 1, Dutch gamers can vote for three games from this list, with the games being awarded 4, 2, and 1 points. The game that receives the most points will be announced as the winner on October 8, 2007.
