New Version of Princes of Florence - More Information and More Art

Here’s some more information on the upcoming new version of Princes of Florence from Dutch publisher Quined Games.  This was posted to the Spielbox forums by Frank Quispel of Quined Games:

Die Fürsten von Florenz (Alea) already is a great game, and as such we have decided not to cut and paste inside the basic rules.

Two player rules will be added, and there will be also two expansions inside the box: “Muse and Princess” and “Cooperative building”. The first expansion is aimed at advanced players and splits Phase A in Phase A1 (just like the normal A) and Phase A2 (bidding on six helpful character cards, the bidding will be done with the player cylinders, on a special bidding track on each card). The second expansion is lighter and consists of a 5x10 building grid on the back of the player boards: in this expansion these boards will be joined in the middle of the table, which opens the possibility to build a building together with the left or right player (depending on their biddings).

The artwork will be nice and warm, and is done by Eckhard Freytag.

Quined has also updated their teaser page with more art from the game.  Check out their De Vorsten van Florence page.
