News Flash: Valley Games to Reprint Big City
It looks like there’s going to be a new version of the Franz-Benno Delonge classic Big City, originally published by Goldsieber in 1999. The game is going to be published by Valley Games, the publisher responsible for the new version of Die Macher.
Here are some details about the new version of Big City. The art will be by Mike Doyle, who is renowned for his reimaginings of art from games such as Puerto Rico and Age of Mythology. There will be new buildings and new neighborhood shapes, in addition to the ones in the classic game. As with Die Macher, the game rules will come in a variety of languages.
As with Die Macher, Valley Games is offering a pre-order system similar to GMT Games P500 system (though the magic number here is 750). The game should be available for pre-order in a few days from the Valley Games website .

Depends what you mean by comparable. From what I’ve heard they’re currently being (re)drawn in AutoCAD. Posted by Jasen Robillard on Sep 25, 2006 at 09:40 AM | #
