NoGlobal - New PDF Game from daVinci

Italian publisher daVinci Editrice has a new game in PDF format from Luigi Ferrini called NoGlobal. NoGlobal is for 2-5 players, and each player takes on a different role—President, policeman, demonstrator, or violent protestor—and each role has a different win condition: the President wants to visit three monuments in town, the violent protestor has to throw a tart at the President, and so on.

NoGlobal is available for download through Arima.it. The price is normally €3, but downloading is free through June 10th.

I tried downloading it, but it wanted to charge me.  How do I get to it?

Strange—I downloaded the PDF about 8am EDT, and the €2.99 price for NoGlobal had a slash through it at the time with a €0.00 price in red next to it. I’ve asked daVinci about it since the news item said it would be gratis through the weekend in honor of President Bush’s visit to Rome.

The price tag today is bad news, though, and it’s a problem on Arima’s side - I can do nothing to fix it without their help.
I hope I can contact them as soon as possibile, but being Sunday today this could be difficult…
I suggest the readers could drop a line to daVinci () or to Arima today and we will ship the game anyway by mail for free if we receive the mail today.

Sorry about that!

Good news: the pricetag has been fixed.
Thank you to Eric and to some BGN readers for noticing this!
Now you can download again the game for free, just for today.

"it would be gratis through the weekend in honor of President Bush’s visit to Rome.”

Given Bush’s reception, I’m surprised that daVinci didn’t *double* the price in honor of his visit. :-)

I downloaded - and the entire document was in Italian.  Is there an English edition that I missed?

You get a free game, then have the nerve to complain that it’s in Italian?! Next time daVinci will double the price!

Silvano at daVinci says that if someone on the Geek doesn’t produce an English translation in a reasonable amount of time, daVinci will create one of its own.

Now I get it!  Its low price (free) was directed at *Italians* as a sort of compensation for having to put up with our President.
