Norwegian Ticket to Ride Champion Crowned
Remo Rehder of Brettspillguiden.no has posted a detailed report (in Norwegian) of the country’s Ticket to Ride championship. Says Rehder, “The championship was organized so that all players played two four-player games, scoring 3-0 points according to their standing at the end of the game. The twelve best players advanced to a third round, keeping the points from the previous two rounds, and then the four best players entered the final. Even scores in the championships were decided by the scores of the players in each game. High score of the day was a whooping 185 points by Lars Erik Christensen in a game where all the destinations cards were in use and only one ticket was not fulfilled!”
