Power Grid wins Best of Show 2008

Alta Tensione (Power Grid) wins the Best of Show 2008 in boardgame category. The Italian version of the original 2F game is published by Counter/Stratelibri that has already released Italian version of Tribune and in the next months will also publish Agricola and Puerto Rico.

Best of Show in the card game category to Munchkin Cthulhu by Steve Jackson, published by Raven Distribution. Best collectable card/miniature game to Wizards of Mickey, by Andrea Chiarvesio and Stefano Ambrosio, published by New Media Publishing. Finally the best of show in RPG to D&D, 4 Edition published by 25 editions.

Lucca Comics & Games also assigned several side awards:

Best Family Game to Formula D, published by Idea Edizioni. Best mechanic again to Alta Tensione (Power Grid). Best project to Wizards of Mickey.

Member of the Best of Show jury was: Pierdomenico Baccalari, Mario Pasqualotto, Devan Maggi, Loredana Lipperini and Fabrizio Paoli (coordinator).
