Rio Grande Games Reprint Schedule
Rio Grande Games has posted their schedule of reprints for the next few months. Here’s the schedule:
Coloretto - Released
Gulo Gulo - Released
Bohnanza - Released
Transamerica - Released
Roma - June 2006
* Caylus - Late June 2006
* El Grande Decennial - Late June 2006
Goa - Late June 2006
* Cartagena - July 2006
* Medici - July 2006
Kahuna - July 2006
* Taj Mahal - July 2006
* We understand that these games will not be straight reprints - they will be new versions. Caylus will be the second edition with new box art, cardboard coins, some updated graphics, and updated rules. The reprint of El Grande will be a special Decennial (10 year) edition and will include all the expansions. For this reason, Rio Grande will no longer offer the El Grande Expansions as a separate item.
Cartagena will have new graphics. The new version of Medici will use the graphics from the original Amigo version of the game (as opposed to the Rio Grande version or the new Asmodee version). There will also be many improvements to the graphics. Taj Mahal will have very few changes between the old and new version.
There are a number of other games that Rio Grande is sold out of and do not have specific reprint dates. These are:
Java
Barnyard Critters
* Stephenson’s Rocket
Galloping Pigs.
* This will be a new version of Stephenson’s Rocket with a new title and a map of the United States.
