Robot Martini Launches Five New Titles, Including Stephen Glenn’s Jetsetters
Robot Martini is a new Baltimore-based game company that has introduced five games under the heading “Atomic Sushi Projects.” These first releases are small, inexpensively produced card games, so the company compares them to bento boxes due to their tiny size and price. These games are:
- Jetsetters. Spiel Des Jahres-nominated game designer Stephen Glenn brings this drafting game about traveling around the globe to the hottest cities by way of various means of transportation.
- Bombshells, by Kristin Matherly. A bidding game which pits a group of nerds against each other in a desperate battle to pick up hot women.
- Zombies of Los Muerte High, by Gavin Schmitt. A blind-bidding game where a group of high school students attempt to survive another day and another zombie invasion.
- Nerd Trivia, by Dave Chalker. An old fashioned trivia game with two twists. First, you can score extra points by correctly guessing which of your friends will get the question right. And second, all the questions are about “nerdy” topics such as Star Wars, Star Trek, D&D, and Lord of the Rings.
- DHV Round 1: Mahatma Zombie vs. Sintaclaws, by Gavin Schmitt. A fighting game where figures from history throwdown in a brutal bar brawl. In round one, Mahatma Zombie faces off against Sintaclaws.
Robot Martini plans to release two more Sushi-sized games in February and other titles throughout the start of 2007, leading up to the debut of the company’s first full-color board game at Origins.
