Rumor Dept.: PlayMe.de Out of Business, Changing Hands

German game retailer PlayMe.de has had a notice on its site for a month that the shop is closed due to a server crash, but a post on Spielbox.de says that the company is actually out of business. A PlayMe customer who had waited more than three months for a couple of games sent multiple emails to the company, then got the owner on the phone; the owner said that the company is closed, but a new owner should be reopening the store “soon.”
