Slow Senji Rollout Continues
Asmodée Editions is continuning its slow rollout of Senji with a new post featuring the box and gameboard.

The game, designed by Bruno Cathala and Serge Laget, divides three of the largest islands of Japan into 18 provinces, which are controlled by the Daimyos (i.e. the players). Although the board might prime you for battle, Senji is as much about diplomacy as combat, according to Asmodée. For more pics of the gameboard, visit the (French) Asmodée website.

I read your review. Great take on this game, Bruno. I always liked your reviews of games, as they are honest, direct and philosophical at the appropriate times. This sounds like it has shades of “Diplomacy” in it? Yup, thanks to Bruno’s smart review, I have some interest in this one. Ryan B. Posted by Ryan Bretsch on Mar 18, 2008 at 06:36 PM | #
