Spiel für Spiel – A Game Handbook at Spiel

Spielen in Österreich, the organization that promotes gaming in Austria, will have five giveaways at its booth (#9-10) at Spiel 08 – as detailed in this July 2008 news item – as well as an 88-page game compendium covering more than 650 games called Spiel für Spiel that sells for €3.

Notes Ferdinand de Cassan, “The special feature of this compendium is our new Games Buyers Infomation System, GABIS for short, which is intended to assist all readers to quickly find the games to his taste. The ‘Viennese Games Acadamy’ has spent many hours devising it and using it on all 654 games in the handbook. We hope and believe to offer something entirely new with this system.”
