Suleika Wins Spiel der Spiele 2008

Dominique Ehrhard’s Suleika, also known as Marrakech, has won Austria’s Spiel der Spiele for 2008. The game was also a contender for Germany’s Spiel des Jahres ward, so that’s two nice kudos for Ehrhard.

Other categories for which awards were announced are games for experts (won by Agricola, Race for the Galaxy and Tribune), games for friends (Galaxy Trucker, Stone Age and Witch’s Brew), games for families (Blox, Deukalion, Drachen Wurf, Dragon Parade and Globalissimo) and games for kids (Auf die Schätze, fertig, los!, Haselnuss Bande and Lauras erste Übernachtung).
